Abstract

A well developed phoretic association between the adult females of Arctoseius cetratus (Sellnick) and females of Sciara (Lycoriella) auripila Winn. is described. The mite was seen to prey on eggs and larvae of insects, including those of the host, and on nematodes. Ecological information on mite and host is examined in relatiion to these findings.
