Structural Mass Spectrometry to study membrane protein interactions and dynamics

Despite the impressive achievements of high-resolution structural analysis techniques and novel prediction methods, identifying molecular interactions and dynamic fingerprints associated with proteins function require a broader view than the one offered by a single technique.
Structural mass spectrometry (MS) comprises an array of applications that provide information about protein structure, dynamics and interactions.
During my talk, I will present selected examples in which we used native MS and hydrogen-deuterium exchange MS to showcase how these techniques can be useful to gain insights into membrane protein structure and function.
