Simulated river invasion

This animation illustrates MAPI genetic distances (Rousset's "a") weighted mean (left) and variance (right) during a simulated invasion process in a river.
First individuals are introduced from the left "estuary" and colonize to the right. They breed at each generation and can move by one cell with a probability of 0.738.

Simulation was done using SimAdapt using these netlogo and data files.
Images are computed using MAPI using 300 randomly chosen individuals.

Red-orange colors in the "mean" frame indicates high similarity, blue-violet show high dissemblances.
Lowest variance are represented in red-orange, highest variance in blue-violet.
