AB  - Two new species are described in this paper, one in the monotypic genus Ingaseius Barbosa, Rocha and Ferla, 2014 and the other in the genus Leonacarus Manzanilla, García-París and Aponte, 2006, both from Peru. Ingaseius catapayensis n. sp. and Leonacarus canetensis n. sp. were collected in an inter-Andean valley, in Cañete Province (Lima region, Peru) from Inga feuilleei DC. (Fabaceae) and Waltheria ovata Cav. (Malvaceae), respectively. These new records expand the known geographic distribution of their respective genera in South America and contribute to the understanding of phytoseiid mite diversity in Peru. A key to species of Leonacarus is provided.
