AB  - The life history of P. persimilis was determined at a cyclical temperature range of 58.5 to 83° F. From the life history data a life table was constructed for P. persimilis. The intrinsic rate of increase was found to be 0.219 individuals per female per day and the population multiplied 44.4 times in a generation time of 17.32 days under the given conditions.
