AB  - Notes sur les Knemidokoptidae avec description de taxa nouveaux. -  Three new species and a new genus are described in the family Knemidokoptidae Dubinn. Genus Mesoknemidokoptes Dodd, 1973 (type species: Sarcoptes laevis Raillet, 1885) is synonymized with Picicnemidocoptes Pence, 1972 (type species: P. dryocopae Pence, 1972). Sarcoptes laevis Raillet, 1885 is rattached to Picicnemidocoptes. The subspecies Neocnemidocoptes laevis gallinae (Raillet, 1887) type of the genus Neocnemidocoptes Fain, 1966, is elevated at the species level. A list of all the genera of the subfamily Knemidokoptinae with their type species is given.
