Four genera of feather mites including five species are restricted to Anseranas semipalmata, the magpie goose of northern Australia and southern New Guinea. These taxa are (re)described and figured: Allojreyana n. g. for A. oxygonata n. sp.; Dobyella n. g. for D. longipalpa n. sp.; Freyanopsis Dubinin 1950 for F. decidilatatusetae Dubinin 1950 and F. periproctus n. sp.; Pelecymerus n. g. for P. tetragonus n. sp.
