(type Eugamasus lyriformis McGr. and Farr., 1969) avec deux especes nouvelles (Parasitiformes, Parasitidae). members of the genus Schizosthetus n. g. are to be found under barks of pine trees, mostly associated with bark beetles. Collection records reflect more sampling distribution than biogeography of the genus (central and north Americas, Canary Islands, Portugal, north Russia). Three species are known: S. lyrijormis (McGraw and Farrier, 1969), nearctic; S. simulatrix n. sp., La Palma (Canary Islands) and Portugal; S. vicarius n. sp., Oregon (USA); the identity of the Russian material is uncertain. The new genus is defined and the new species are described. A diagnostic table makes it possible separating the three above mentioned species. ER -
