Abstract

Boydaia hirundoae Fain from Hirundo neoxena (Passeriformes), Neoboydaia philomachi (Fain) from Limosa lapponica (Charadriiformes) and Speleognathopsis porphyrionis n. sp. from Porphyrio melanotus (Gruiformes) are the first speleognathid mites to be recorded from Australian birds
