Abstract
Two poorly known, cavernicolous mites of the family Rhagidiidae are redescribed. Rhagidia weyerensis (Packard) is known only from its type locality, Grand Caverns, Augusta County, Virginia. Rhagidia cavernarum (Packard) is known from several caves in south-central Kentucky and central Tennessee. Both species appear to be obligatory cavernicoles. Rhagidia cavicola Banks is shawn to be a junior synonym of R. cavernarum.
