New and described species of Tydeidae (Acari) from moorland soils in Britain

Five new British mites of the family Tydeidae are recorded from moorland soils in Yorkshire. Four of these, Coccotydeus loadmani, C. bakeri, Microtydeus subterraneus and Triophtydetus craveni are new to science and are fully described.
