Echineustathia, genre nouveau de la sous-familie des Eustathiinae (Analgoidea, Pterolichidae). - A new genus Echinettstathia n. g. has been erected for the species Chattliacia tricapitosetosa Mc Daniel. E. tricapitosetosa belongs to the family Pterolichidae subfamily Eustathiinae as established by GAUD and ATYEO (r). The chitinous structures referred to as setae by Mc DANIEL (2) have been found not to be true setae through examination by polarized light. These structures do not have actinochitinous axis.
