Abstract

Two new species, Olopheidomenis cocyles n. sp. and Otopheidomenis donahuei n. sp., are described from moth hosts, Cocyliits duponchel (Poey) and Erinnyis obscura (Fab.) respectively, from Peru, South America. Immature and adult stages of O. cocyles were found behind and around the left wing base and that of O. donahuei were found around the right wing base. Genus Olopheidomenis is redefined to include the new species and a key to known genera of Otopheidomeninae is given.
