Abstract
A new species of mite Treatia dieuches (Phytoseiidae, Otopheidomeninae) is described from a lygaeid bug, Dieuches, from East Africa. A summary of the species, hosts and distributions of species of the sub-family Otopheidomeninae is provided together with a provisional key to males.
