Abstract
Notes on the new family Hybalicidae are given together with descriptions of the genera Hybalicus Berlese {I9I3) and Grandjeanicus n.g. on which it is based. The new species included are Hybalicus arboriger, H. spathatits, H. dorysetatits and Grandjeanicus uncus.
