Ecologie et ethologie d Ixodes ricinus L. en Suisse. Deuxieme note: comparaison des populations 1972 et 1973. - The results of sampling free-living and attached ticks during two years are compared. Meteorological factors as temperature and soilmoistening seem important. The number of ticks attached to the rodents appears independent from the number of free-livin g ticks and also from the rodents densitv. Regulation factors for the number;f attached ticks are unknown at the present time.
