Ovacaridae, une famille nouvelle de Sarcoptiformes plumicoles. A new family, Ovacaridae, is erected for one named and two new. genera of feather mites living in the quills: Ovacants n. g., type-species O. wilsoni n. sp. from Colinus virginianus; Atelespoda n. g., type species Sphaerogastra crena Mc Daniel 1966; Sphaerogastra Trouessart 1897, type-species S. thylacodes Trt 1897.
