Abstract
The female of Dynastaspis hercules sp. n. ex Hercules hercules (Coleoptera: Dynastidae) from Guadeloupe is described and figured. It is suggested that mites of the genus Dynastaspis are commonly ssociated ith dynastine beetles in the new world.
