Abstract
The occasional large fall infestations of adult Ixodes scapularis (Say) in coastal Southeast Massaсhusеtts require а series of two years with аЬоvе normal fall temperatures to permit the maximum expression of seasonal breeding activity and аЬоуе normal winter temperatures for maximum overwintering survival.
