Abstract

The general anatomy of the excretory duct in relation to its external opening, the uropore is investigated in the two sexes of Myobia тuris-тusculi . The evolution of the excretory duct in the higher Trombidiformes as illustrated Ьу М. тuris-тusculi is briefly discussed. The presence ог absence of the uropore in the female and male respectively is опе of the features of sexual dimorphism in the myobiids.
