Abstract

Several new taxa are described in the family Rosensteiniidae in Malaysia. The adults of Nycteriglyphus asiaticus are described and figured. A new species is described in the genus Cheiromelichus Fain, Ch. trochanteralis. Two more new genera and species are also described: Micronychites spinijer and Micronychitoides pilijer, both genera forming a new subfamily Micronychitinae, nliving on Dermaptera of the genus Arixenia living in association with Cheiromeles torquatus. The parasitic role of some Nycteriglyphine species for bats is confirmed.
