Abstract

An account of the so far known Diptilomiopus species from India and abroad has been provided. Three new species, viz. D. ficusis infesting Ficus hispida Lf., D. holoptelus infesting Holoptelea integrifolia Planch and D. trewier infesting Trewia nudiflora Lin. have been described from West Bengal. D. assamica Keifer ·is reported for the first time from the State of West Bengal, India. A key for separa ting . the Indian species has also been provided
