Abstract

Sur un nouveau groupe d acariens, dans la famille Pyroglyphidae (astigmates), infeode aux pics afrotropicaux des familles Capitonidae et Picidae. - The authors describe a new genus, Capitonoecius, represented by a new species, C. spinitarsis, and a new subgenus Capitonocoptes (in genus Pottocola Fain, 1971) represented by 3 new species: P. longipilis, P. lybius and P. ventriscutata (family Pyroglyphidae). Ali these new species were found on Piciformes.
