Abstract
Four new species of the genus Calamicoptes and two new species of the genus Fainocoptes are figured and described. These species are Caolamicoptes zumpti from Dicrurus adsimilis, C. arenariae from Arenaria interpres, C. vanelli from Vanellus vanellus, C. galli from Gallus gallus domesticus, Fainocoptes capicola from Streptopelia capicola and F. aferi from Turtur afer.
