Abstract
Four new species of the genus Scutacarus (subgenus Scutacarus) are described and illustrated. These species are (S.) unicosimilis, (S.) longiposimilis, (S.) zaherii and (S.) wisniewskii. Ali were found in nests of the large ant, Cataglyphus bicolor Fab., and in soil.
