Abstract

The three species species of South American Psophiidae (Trumpeters) share a common acarofauna: Analloptes psophiae (Trouessart and Neumann), Ceratothrix corniger (Trouessart and Neumann), and two new taxa, Atrichotibia fistella and Mastigodiscus bucolis. All taxa are illustrated and the new taxa described.
