Abstract
Seven North American oribatid mite species proposed by Nathan BANKS and Henry EWING are transferred to genera of the family Mochlozetidae. New combinations include Podoribates pratensis (Banks), P. turgidus (Banks), P. minusculus (Banks), P. artilamellatus (Ewing), Mochlozetes maximus (Ewing), and Dynatozetes magnus (Banks). The genus Mochlobates n. gen. is proposed, with Oribata affinis Banks as type-species.
