Abstract

The male of Psorobia bos (Johnston, 1964), is described for the first time. Previously known only from New Mexico, USA, the discovery of this species in upstate New York, USA, considerably widens its known range. The three subgenera of the genus Psorergates (Psorergates, Psorobia and Psorergatoides) are raised to generic level. Figures and measurements are provided.
