Abstract

Four new species of the genus Imparipes (Subgenera Archidispus and Imparipes) are described and illustrated. These species were named Imparipes lionensis, Imparipes carnsorensis, Imparipes Jusisetosus and Imparipes paramarae. I. lionensis and I. paramarae were found in old grassland in Co. Kildare, I. fusisetosus was found in a reclaimed peat soil in Co. Offaly and I. carnsorensis in coastal grassland in Co. Wexford.
