Abstract

Two new species of genus Rhizoglyphus Claparede, 1869 (Acari, Acaridae) are described: Rh. balmensis from forest litter in Sainte Baume forest, France and Rh. algericus from gladioli bulbs and a vervain field in Algeria. New habitats or locations are recorded for Rh. robini Claparede, Rh. echinopus (Fumouze and Robin) and Rh. selosus Manson.
