Abstract
Seven species in the Genus Sperchonopsis Piersig (barri, iansmithi, latipalpis, magniscuta, protuberosa, tuberculata, and whiteshellensis) are described. Two previously described species of Sperchonopsis from North America (S. anoarmata Habeeb, 1968, and S. ovalis Marshall, 1929) are redescribed. Sperchonopsis whiteshellensis n. sp. is placed in the Subgenus Sperchonopsella n. subgen. (with S. nipponicus Uchida, 1934, from Japan).
