Abstract
A new genus, a new subgenus, and two new species of mites (Acari) are described from Caribbean and South American Chrysomelidae (Coleoptera): Ancyranoetus virkkii n. gen., n. sp. (Histiostomatidae) from Lema nigripes (Criocerinae) in Puerto Rico and Momorangia (Neomomorangia) asphaerae n. subg., n. sp. (Erythraeidae) collected from Asphaera sp. (Alticinae) in Brazil.
