Abstract
Four new species of Tetra Keifer viz., T. cassiae infesting Cassia fistula, T. brideliae infesting Bridelia stipularis, T. shoreacola infesting Shorea robusta and T. triflorae infesting Desmodium triflorum are described from the khasi hills in Meghalaya state of Northeast India. A brief discussion on the genus Tetra is provided and a key to the Indian species of Tetra included.
