Abstract
Scapheremaeus.chaquensis n. sp, collected in the Chaquena Phytogeographic Province (Argentina) is described from the adult and tritonymphal stases. This species lives in the litter of Schinopsis lorentzii and Caesalpinia paraguariensis (families Anacardiaceae and Caesalpinaceae in respect).
