New species of the genus Favognathus Luxton (Acari: Cryptognathidae) from Iran

Abstract
Favognathus mirazii n. sp. is described from Iran. This is the first report of the family Cryptognathidae from Iran. Favognathus cordylus, F. gersoni and F. barrasi are redescribed. A key to the species of the world is given.
