Abstract
A new species belonging to the family Cepheidae Berlese, 1896, Eupterotegaeus bitranslamellatus n. sp., is described from Spanish lower Cretaceous. The fossil is preserved in a piece of amber found near Penacerrada (province of Alava, North of Spain).
