Abstract
One new genus, Protumescoptes and four new species, Aceria fissistigmae sp. nov. infesting Fissistigma rubigenosa Griff.; Aculops jalpaiguriensis sp. nov. infesting Beilschmiedia sp.; Protumescoptes antedesmae sp. nov. infesting Antedesma ghaesembilla Gaertn. and Vasates lakoochae sp. nov. infesting Artocarpus lacucha Roxb. are described from the sub-himalayan West Bengal, India.
