  Scientific tours
Scientific tours will be organised on Wednesday 29 August 2007 afternoon. Each of these will be restricted to 25 participants and the rule ‘first come, first served’ will apply. For each tour, the cost will be 60 € (incl. VAT 19.6%) per participant (which will include the bus transportation, fee for access to tourist sites and dinner at a fine restaurant in the evening), payable in advance only, upon registration.

Wetlands, monitoring of denitrification fluxes in salt-affected soils and organic farming (rice/wheat/lucern rotations)
+ visit of the town of Aigues-Mortes and dinner at a restaurant .

Tour 2 – Pic Saint Loup ( This tour is unfortunately not available anymore - it is fully booked )
Vine management in the famous terroir of Pic St Loup, its unique geology, soils and wines. Root-soil interactions and wine production.
+ visit of the medieval village of Les Matelles, wine tasting at Mas Bruguières, Clos Marie, Chateau Cazeneuve and dinner at a restaurant.

Tour 3 – Garrigues ( This tour is unfortunately not available anymore - it is fully booked )
Truffle ecology and Mediterranean forest management, truffle-host tree relationship, truffle hunting
+ visit of the medieval village of St Guilhem le Désert (World Heritage Site) and dinner at a restaurant.

Tour 4 – Cévennes
Ectomycorrhizal diversity in Mediterranean forest, management of the production of edible fungi and agro-forestry operations
+ visit of the medieval castle of Portes, town of Anduze and dinner at a restaurant

Tour 5 – St Laurent le Minier ( This tour is unfortunately not available anymore - it is fully booked )
Metallophyte ecology (incl. hyperaccumulator plant species) and revegetation operations at an old lead mine site
+ visit of the Cirque de Navacelle, wine tasting at Montpeyroux and dinner at a restaurant

Tour 6 – Puechabon
Evergreen oak forest carbon budget and carbon sequestration fluxes, functional diversity of ectomycorrhizae
+ visit of the medieval village of St Guilhem le Désert and the Abbaye de Gellone (World Heritage Site) and dinner at a restaurant restaurant
