Important information for oral presenters
Length of presentations
The allocated time for presentation and discussion are 35 + 10 minutes for plenary sessions and 15 + 5 minutes for platform presentations. Speakers are encouraged to respect the assigned time in order to respect the time schedule. It is at the discretion of the chairs how this time is best used. In case one presenter does not present, his time slot will be skipped and the next presentation will begin at the indicated time in the program.
Session Chairpersons
Please refer to the scientific program for the name of you session’s Chairperson. Please meet your Chairperson in your session room 10 minutes prior to the start of your session.
Presentation upload
Electronic presentation should be in either PDF or PowerPoint format. Please, upload your presentation on the conference computers one day before you present, and no later than the morning you present. For that, ICA2013 staff will be at your disposal at the registration desk. You are discouraged from using your own laptop.
Audio Visual Information
The use of PowerPoint or PDF is strongly encouraged and the following equipment will be provided in all meeting rooms:
- Data Video Projector
- A computer to which your presentation will be uploaded
- Screen
- Microphone
- Laser Pointer

Presentation award
The ICA2013 Program and Organizing Committee will be awarding a prize to the best presentation delivered by a young water professional at the conference. The winner will be announced at the Conference Dinner on Friday 20th September.
Important information for poster presenters
Posters should have a maximum size of A0 in portrait format (841mm wide * 1189mm high). The provided poster boards will be 1 meter wide.
All posters will be displayed in the entrance hall of Narbonne’s theatre. Posters have to be hung up to the panel with the number assigned in the conference program (see list of posters) on Wednesday morning during registration time (08h00-08h30) or at the first coffee break (9h45-10h20). They should be removed the last day during the morning coffee break (9h45-10h20). Posters not removed by this time will be disposed of unless prior arrangements are made. It is suggested that poster presenters are available for discussion at their posters during coffee break.
Poster Prizes
The ICA2013 Scientific Committee will be awarding a prize to the best poster delivered by a young water professional at the conference. The winner will be announced at the Conference Dinner on Friday 20th September.
