LEPSE (Laboratory of Plant Ecophysiological responses to Environmental Stresses) focused on the analysis and modelling of plant responses and adaptation to variable environmental stresses. LEPSE is one of the 3 departments which compose the "Integrative Biology Institute for Plants" (IBIP).

LEPSE has gained expertise by identifying mechanisms which contribute to determine transpiration and leaf or root growth of plants subjected to various abiotic stresses. This has been made possible by integrating cellular, biophysical, physiological and whole plant modelling approaches in different species such as sunflower, maize, grape, rice, pea and Arabidopsis thaliana. + >>
