B&PMP (Biochemistry and Plant Molecular Physiology) is defined as an Integrative Biology research department, focused on the mechanisms of plant responses and adaptation to variable abiotic environmental conditions. B&PMP is one of the 2 departments which compose the "Integrative Biology Institute for Plants" (IBIP).

These last fifteen years, B&PMP has gained a strong scientific identity by unraveling the molecular mechanisms which contribute to determine the hydro-mineral balance of plants, subjected to various abiotic stresses. This has been made possible by integrating cellular, molecular, genetic, biochemical, biophysical and physiological approaches, and mainly by using the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. More + >>
