Project guidance

Project Coordination

Christophe Soulard, Coline Perrin and Elodie Valette will lead the project, watching to ensure: respected deadlines, good coordination between tasks, implementation of effective interdisciplinary work, realization of a transverse analysis between terrains, and communication throughout the project.

Task Coordinators

  • Task 2 : Elodie Valette et Jean-Christophe Paoli
  • Task 3 : Mayté Banzo et Claude Napoleone
  • Task 4 : Eduardo Chia et Salma Loudiyi
  • Task 5 : Sylvie Lardon et Claire Ruault

The role of the task coordinators is to organize the work of involved partners, watch over the flow of research, make the necessary decisions in concert with the general coordination, and furnish the deliverables and progress markers of task deadlines. The task coordinators have an additional specific role of comparing approaches, methods, and results obtained between the different terrains serving to support the research activities of their task.

Correspondence with terrains

  • Pise : Mariassunta Galli and Elisa Marraccini
  • Lisbonne : Patricia Abrantes and Margarida Queiros
  • Mekhnès : Mohammed El Amrani and Elodie Valette
  • Constantine : Salah Bouchemal and Ouassila Bendjaballah
  • Montpellier : Françoise Jarrige and Coline Perrin

On each terrain a correspondent maintains the role of operational coordination between the scientific partners and stakeholders involved. He maintains the formation, management, and the archiving of the data produced on his terrain. The correspondent’s transversal knowledge of the terrain and the project allows him to facilitate the discussions of the guidance committee and the operational decisions. He contributes to the transversal and interdisciplinary analysis of the project with his experience of the implementation and articulation of the different tasks on his terrain and the results obtained.

Guidance committee

Two times a year, this committee will assemble the 3 project coordinators, the task coordinators and the terrain correspondents, as well as various institutional representatives to discuss the progress of the project, the work planning, and any problems eventually encountered.

Annual Seminars

Four annual seminars, open to the participants, are anticipated over the course of the project. These seminars are an opportunity for work and exchange between participants, organized around several activities: presentation of results obtained in the different tasks, comparison of approaches and results between terrains, workshops on the transversal tasks, and organization of the coming year. Several institutional representatives may be invited.
