Insects were collected in yellow tray traps during a 100-day survey and inspected for ectoparasites and phoretics. More than 300 mites of at least 20 families occurred either attached to the body of the insects or on the bottom of the traps. 168 Gamasina mites of 28 species were found. Seven species were represented by five or more individuals; their seasonal occurrence and host affiliations are discussed. Fifteen species are new records for Sweden.
