Ill. Etude anatomique, histologique et cytologique des femelles parthenogenetiques. 2eme partie - The second part of this study of parthenogenetic females of Trhypochthonius tectorum and Platynothrus peltifer is concerned with oogenesis. Oogonial divisions occur in the first immature stages (larva, protonymph and especially deutonymph). Premeiotic stages appear during the deutonymphal stage and are achieved during the tritonymphal stage. Maturation divisions occur in the adult and are followed by segmentation divisions which lead to the formation of an entire (T. tectorum) or unfinished (P. peltifer) prelarva enclosed in the egg. Diploidy results from fusion of 2 haploid anaphasic sets of chromosomes formed at the 2nd maturation division. The rearrangement of genetic material can occur. ER -
