Abstract

Eriophyes platani, a new species (Acari: Eriophyoidea) on Platanus hybrida Brot is described from Germany. The mites live below the epidermis of leaf upper side in mines (Stigmatonom) of Platanus leaf miners (Lithocolletis platani Stgr.).
