Despite its epidemiological importance as a probable vector of Theileria annulata, which is responsible for Mediterranean bovine theileriosis, Hyalomma lusitanicum remains poorly known, specially the larval larval and nymphal morphology, stages which remain badly described or undescribed. In ordre to faciliate the ecological studies needed to understand Theileriosis epidemiology, we present a morphological description of these 2 stages, and provides some information regarding the hosts of H. lusitanicum.
