Abstract
Le genre Acarophenax a ete cree pour une seule espece, tribolii, parasite d un oeuf de Tribolium confusum Duvall. En 1959 KRCZAL ajoute clans ce genre trois especes, bambergensis, nicolae et tragardhi. Une quatrieme espece est decrite, cette même annee, par RAcK. Crwss (sous presse) retient seulement tribolii clans ce genre et classe les autres especes clans Paracarophenax et Adactylidium. A. nidicolus n. sp., tres voisin de tribolii, a ete trouve parmi les debris d un nid de Colaptes cafer Gmelin (Piciformes) a Cache la Poudre l(iver (environ 4 km. E. de Ft. Collins), Colorado, et A. lacunatus n. sp. provient d un elevage en laboratoire de Cryptolestes ferrugineus (Cucujiclae) a Purlman, Washington.
