Abstract

The equilibrium weight of Dermacentor variabilis (Say) under constant conditions at over 98% R.H. was found to be a function of temperature. In the range 5-40 deg C, the maximum weight was found at 20 deg C. The equilibrium weight was maintained by an active process.
