Abstract

The phanerotaxy of each leg segment is analyzed in depth, particularly from the standpoint of variation. A designation system is presented for all segments but the tarsus where a notation system is possible. The degree of fusion and muscle relationship of the interfemoral joint on leg IV is given special attention.
