Abstract

Rhagidiid mites are poorly known in Egypt. Four species were collected from the upper soil layer in different localities. Shibaia shereefi sp. n. and Thoria sp. near brevisensilla are described and illustrated, while Coeeorhagidia clavifrons (Canestrini) and Robustoeheles (R.) mucronota (Willmann) have been recorded for the first time.
